In a set of new by-laws passed by the town council those who flout the ban could be fined between €100 (£81) and €300 (£245).
Those caught drinking alcohol on the streets or having sex on the beach could also be prosecuted and beachwear will be banned from all but beachfront bars and restaurants.

Can't say I blame them. I've never know why some places tollerate British Lager Louts.

Yes but many tourists wear beachwear all the time when on holiday and not just the Club 18-30 crowd.

True, that bit's maybe going too far. But some sort of tightening of standards is long overdue.

When it is very hot I will admit to preferring to just wearing trunks but will get dressed if leaving the hotel complex. Though too many have an inner chav waiting to get out.

In the summer I generally notice that those who should wear less don't and those that should wear more strip off.

It's just wrong. :D
