I only had to read the headline in Saturdays paper to think "What a load of frikkin idiots." Sorry guys, but if you are reading this, then I cannot believe that you have trusted ten years of work to a laptop and a flash drive in the SAME premises. :o :shock: :roll:

3-2-1 - 3 copies, 2 different types of medium and 1 off site, otherwise it isn't backed up... :?

They also need to be tested and proven. Especially if you are relying on a 3rd party.

Penny pinching in the extreme me thinks. Software worth £250k should be looked after a bit better than being on one laptop with a taped in hard drive.

they clearly were doing so many things wrong here. If it was so important why not lock the laptop in a safe as a minimum precaution let alone all the other comments here.
