I wonder how the Americans would shackle him like they do all their other defendants. You’d have to hand it to them for trying, I guess.

This is interesting - so far, the Americans have treated the extradition treaty as a one way conduit for getting the people they happen not to like. The UK government is spineless and won’t stand up to them, so the European Court does instead.

Two things:
1 - The Americans have to learn that they can’t have it their way all the time.

2 - Hamza may not be the person to have tested this particular area of international relations. I doubt many people here care if he did go. However, there is a strong body of public opinion about other US extradition attempts which appear to be floundering.

Anyho, it seems that Abu wants us to consider how he would look if he was wearing a monocle:
