Quote:
Five men have been injured in a multiple shooting in south London which the Metropolitan Police believe was a "pre-planned attack".

Officers found four men with bullet wounds after being called to St James's Crescent, Brixton, on Friday night.

Another man attended a south London hospital later. All five, aged 16, 21, 22, 23 and 24, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

No-one has been arrested over the shooting.

Det Cons Deryck Greer said: "This was an apparently pre-planned attack that left five young men in hospital and I would appeal for anyone with information to make contact with police at the earliest opportunity."

Two of the victims, aged 23 and 24, remain in hospital in a stable condition. The others have been treated and discharged.

Reads like a punishment shooting, so I hope the local police catch whoever's involved. Hope the victims are thoroughly questioned too...

I thought that you promised not to do them any more. Even if they were PC World staff you should not do that. ;)

It is Tottenham that you have to watch out for nowadays. Brixton during the day is as safe as anywhere in London, gets a little edgier after dark.

What does "pre-planned" actually mean?

"Hey, guys! I'm up for some planning."

"Uh-huh."

Is it like pre owned? You buy the plans from someone?

Pre-owned is an Americanism for used or secondhand.

Pre-prefixing is pre-becoming a pre-disease, and it's pre-annoying me pre-now.

Cos somehow it sounds a bit official, like something the council dreamed up

As if a council can organise that. Some of the council workers I have met could not organise a piss up in a brewery if they were locked in a brewery with instructions on how to do it.
