Or Aldi or Lidl. Ellesmere Port is hardly the plushest of neighbour hoods. I think that the same could be said of many former industrial areas of the country.

Given that evolution is a fairly well accepted theory in this country, just what is the problem with calling people mutants? Or maybe earlier in the day ASDA just fills up with X-Men :)

If it's the Asda I'm thinking of, then it's in an area that's been recently done up and actually looks quite tidy.

However, the one time I was there in the afternoon I did witness a girl kicking the carp out of another girl who was laying on the floor crying. That was right in front of Asda, and by all accounts it's not untypical.

Not sure about the half-dead wretch on the floor, but "mutant" would be a kind way to describe the girl doing the kicking...

Jeez, I'd stay clear of the fish counter in future, JJ.

Anyway, show me a 100% 'pure' human DNA sequence. We're all slightly mutated, just to a greater or lesser degree.

I was thinking of the Ford plant. Though re the girl fight. That sort of behaviour takes place all over the country.

I've seriously never seen anything like it elsewhere, and I've been to a lot of supermarkets in the last 40 years!

I'm not familiar with the local history, but I do know there's some growth in the car industry there because by chance I was recently working on a huge building site for Vauxhall there.
