More details of Apple's upcoming refresh of its Apple TV service have emerged and it looks like the computing giant is all set to rebrand the device as iTV.

methinks some lawyers are going to get rich, AFAIK theres a small tiny tv company in the land of blighty that might object (unless of course they have licensed the name) to that brand name!

Interestingly it seems that Apple may not add 1080p streaming capabilities, which will be a blow to those who like watching their content in Full HD.
The reason given is that Apple's A4 chip can't handle this type of high-def content

The Apple TV was called the iTV when it was originally launched, then they got a lawyers letter from ITV and changed it to Apple TV... :?

I would be certain that ITV have registered the trademark by now.
