Just turned on my PC to play a bit of HL2 with the new Cinematic Mod...
Update, update, crash, update, WTF!!!
Why can't I just play it!??!?!?
I need a console!

PS3, I just need a HDTV to go with it  Oh well, I'll need to save a bit before I can get it. I already have a list of games that I want for it  FFXIII GT5 JC2 etc... However, before I get any of them I need some space to put them in. I've been looking at places to live on my own rather than house sharing. LOL N.B. I'm not moving house in order to get a PS3 That comes as a side result.

LOL, also I'm playing with no sound as I haven't yet set up my speaker system (partly due to lack of room). I could use my headphones but the wire isn't long enough to reach under my desk and to the back of my PC.

We just got the mother-in-law a new TV. Its a 22" LG from Richer Sounds. Full HD, loads of connection options so it doubles as a PC monitor too. I think it would make a cracking 'bedroom' console/PC/TV. £179.99

i have the 23" version of the LG tv too, recommended as above and usually 190 -200 quid from ebuyer....

Crashed on mine too. Do the /3gb bootup switch. I found it out after 2 minutes of googling. Now it works fine.  _________________ Kimmotalk is where all the cool people hang.

It’s impossible to play FPS on a console pad after playing on a PC mouse and keyboard, well for me anyway

When I get my PS3 I won't be playing many FPS games TBH. Mainly GT5, FFXIII and possibly something like SF4 ooh! And Heavy Rain. I don't like FPS games that much. Prototype also looked good and so did the other one where you run around and climb up buildings and stuff trying to get to way points and missions and stuff. Can't remember the name.

Just Cause 2! God of War 3! Infamous! Uncharted 1 & 2! BTW, that Cinematic mod is a mod - I'd expect things to go wrong!

LOL, I hadn't got as far as downloading it yet Oh yes, God of War 3 would def be on my list also Infamous was the climbing building one I was thinking of.

I really struggled when I moved from PC to PS3 gaming. When I first starts COD:MW2, it was the first FPS on the console. It felt so wierd and unnatural. Up to about level 60 it was a struggle. Then pretty quickly I just became good at it. Not brilliant and still get outdone by those on prestige 5 or above but I'm very happy now.

I should play it more often  I can say without fear of contradiction I am totally crap on the console FPS's, the controls are so slow in comparison to WASD+mouse. Batman and Forza 4 on the other hand i picked up no problem. _________________Finally joined Flickr
