Have you ever played Braid?

It's a really good little game. It's a time shifting platform game where you can control the flow of time and use the effects to your advantage.

Really good little game and it's only £1.19 on the Mac App Store!

I've never ought it before as it's always been around £12 so this is a bargain!

Really tricky though, stuck on some levels but you get little moments of realisation throughout the game which just makes it more and more genius!

Initially when i saw it i thought it wasn't going to be very special so didn't take any notice.

However picked it up with the Humble Indie Bundle and it's easily one of my "favourite" games. Amazingly simple, yet very fiendish and headache-inducing puzzles. Although as you said, the satisfaction you get after solving them is very nice.

I also really like the last level and how it's set out (not the epilogue, the last level) which turns the perspective of time and the story on its head.

I'm struggling to get any more now.

I've finished World 2, 3 and 4. I've got one more piece of world 5 to get and about 9 more pieces of world 6.

That ring does my head in and I couldn't think anymore after playing enough to get there.

When I realised about the trick with the painting in world 2 I suddenly realised that this is a hell of a f*cked up game that's a lot cleverer than it first looks.



Love it though!

Stuck on the level called "A Fragile Companion" at the moment. Two doors, one key. I know I have to somehow get the shadow to unlock the first but I just can't make it happen.

LOL! Ok, 3 more pieces from world 6 to get.

They're fricking impossible though!

Well I finished the game last night.

That last level sent shivers down my spine when I realised what was going on.

It also clears up what is going on in the other worlds and throughout the whole game.

A very good game and some VERY tough puzzles! I had to look up one hint for one level but it wasn't a walkthrough. The hint was literally: "You have to go past the first section of the level to get the piece of the puzzle".

Some of the puzzles were ridiculously difficult but when you finally get them it's a great feeling!
