Never even played the game. Just checked some gameplay footage, looks like an FF ripoff.

jonbwfc I was behind her in a queue today - but I wouldn't describe it as 'bushy'.

Please tell me that FF doesn't stand for Final Fantasy? :?

I'll also make an unsubstantiated comment (since i haven't played Final Fantasy, but have played a lot of DMC) in that I believe FF is turn based? At least, it's not known for its fast paced action requiring stupid amounts of manual dexterity and timing?

Devil May Cry is, as it pains me to say, much more similar to God of War (or what i should be saying is that GoW essentially came from DMC), although GoW appears to the more cinematic/visceral crowd whereas DMC is more about "Style" and is for more "hardcore" fans (i.e. clearing levels without taking damage, as quickly as possible, maintaining combo etc.).

Either way i saw this (news article) and facepalmed... whilst i didn't think the Resident Evil films were completely terrible, they seemed to reference the new remake... which IMO takes away from the series as a whole (not that i don't like Ninja Theory... Heavenly Sword was rather good).
