I'll be very interested to try this out.

I liked the original Dragon Age but never completed it due to newer games and it crashing on me the last time i loaded up (was about an hour of gameplay that didn't save).

Whilst i'm not against the changes to the structure of the game to a more Mass Effect style gameplay (being a part of a story, rather than actually telling your own one), i've really not been impressed with the graphics nor the gameplay footage that i've seen so far which has been IMO poor at best.

Here's to hoping that it'll put all my fears to rest.

Hopefully the PC gameplay and graphics will be on a par with the original and better than the look and fell of the console version.

55min Video of Dev. Walkthrough + QA

It looks much better than previous footage (probably since this looks to be based on a more recent/final build).

Overall the graphical style change looks less "gritty"/detailed and a more smooth/cartoon-ish style... similar to Mass Effect.

I think i might get it... the problem is that i want to complete Origins + Awakenings first (to import saves through), but:

a) It doesn't quite grab me like Mass Effect does.

b) I actually want to respec/redo/replay my character changing a few things along the way however because of above, i don't want to sit through the 44 hours i've played already... again.

Hopefully they won't have dumbed down the RPG system as much as Mass Effect 2, but still gives the cinematic storytelling experience that it does.

PC Demo is out ! 360 Demo was out a few hours ago already and no clue about the PS3 demo.

The Bioware site itself is rather laggy and unresponsive, with the server download speeds being very low.

I've personally found it better to download from Gamershell where i seem to be maxing out my DL speed.

Although by the time people read this, server access will probably have dropped to normal levels :P.

Just installed DAO2.

I'm concerned, I think they may have just completely ruined what was good about DAO.

I can't even zoom out that far at the mo, feels like someones put frakkin blinkers on me.

:(
