I've noticed recently that when buying some games through Playtrade/Amazon marketplace I'm getting sent an increasing number which appear to come from Australia. Now obviously this isn't a problem, but it made me wonder, are games really cheap down under or something?

If you are playing with something “down under” you will go blind.

I've always been given the impression they are more expensive...and most importantly - late!

You only need to listen to a couple of Zero Punctuation rants to know that games down under are both expensive and late.
It seems to be his one pet hate about living in Australia.

That's what I thought...and yet they keep coming. Oh well, the Aussie's must just be nuts.

Aren't the Australian games also often heavily censored/edited? I believe the Germans are fond of that too GTA and Resi especially IIRC....
