Just started playing this at the weekend. Just got to the bit where you get the buggy and have to jump out of the town.

I love the fact the pistol I have sets enemies on fire.

bought it in the steam sale with 3 friends and we're loving it.

We've got one character each and only play together, so we don't get bored of it :D

I dusted this off again last night. I had it on the PC but then bought it a second time for the XBox.

I'm only lvl 17 but I'm getting through it. Annoyed though. I struggled through a load of mobs (died once but got there in the end).

I'm playing as Lilith and using the Elemental tree.

Anyway, I just got to Sledge. He's fricking impossible! I was lvl 16 when I entered the area and I'm now lvl 17 so possibly a bit under lvld?

I can take his shield down instantly (two hits) but then I can't scratch him. Each time you die he resets too which makes it even harder.

Any tips? Maybe go outside and lvl up a bit more?

Possibly. There is a bit of 'grind' to Borderlands as I recall.

However, sequel out Friday :).

I'm waiting on my 2 copies to arrive, got them back beginning of last month when Argos had the pre-order cockups (massively underpriced, wish I splashed on a few more tbh) and they honoured them, £18 for the game as opposed to £40 now :D (As I got the original on launch and loved it it was a no brainer for me, can use the other to trade in/swap with a friend)

Apparently my order is in the RM system.... so I should get it by Easter

Many website reviews of 2 are up, looks like the embargo got lifted at midnight. Generally seem to be giving it 9/10 scores or thereabouts.

I so want to buy this but I'm still only 16% into Far Cry 2 - despite all my best efforts, I can't storm through it - I just keep getting stuck into playing super-slow-clever like it's a sniper game and I've only one life.... and I usually HATE those kind of games. Grrrr. Borderlands 2, Halo 4, Far Cry 3.... I need to get off forums and back on the joypad!

Just had a quick go. Intro is brilliant. First level or so is very well done. Graphics same style but the environments are more varied and colourful. Script is still very humorous. I like.

Same, I've also noticed there are a LOT more bosses so far (I'm not even level 10 but have fought at least 3 where as in the first I'd be up to 9 toes, the 'first' boss)
