I'd like to try it, but I can't say I'm upset by the delay.

It is better to delay a game to get it right rather than a botched release. Though I wonder why they do not complete the game before they start plugging it? I appreciate that they need to get the money in fast to cover the development but unless you have the game near completion why announce anything?

That particular game is funded up the wazoo, long story short. The Uncharted developers (Naughty Dog) have split themselves in two to work on two games at once IIRC, this being the first game from the new team so needing exposure. It's also a game on an essentially dying system.

I realise that the PS3 is now going to struggle with new games so why not concentrate as a single team and get that right, then the next game could be on the PS4 but with a decent reputation from the first game? Now they look like botching both.

I can't imagine they've botched this, but who knows. IMO for all the hype, Uncharted 3 felt a bit off compared to the other two.

Well I wait until the game is in the stores before I buy generally. Though I will pre order occasionally.
