I wonder if this happens on the Apple store as well. It is a crazy solution to keep charging for each patch. Though I suspect that is to encourage better coding to start with.

You do have to submit updated versions for approval but IIRC Apple don't charge for it - or at least, if they do, it's nowhere near the scale of pricing MS or Sony charge. I've never heard anyone complain about cost, just that you have to do it and how long it can take.

Thanks for that. I have noticed how long some apps take to be updated on the Apple App store. I might get a notification on MacUpdate and weeks and months later it still has not been updated on the App store.
