Looks like I won't be buying a PS3 for quite a while longer!

Don't care, I'm not buying one until GT5 is out as it's the main reason for me getting it, the other games like uncharted 2 will be cheaper then when it comes out so I can wait

Yep, GT5 is the one game that will drag me to the shop to buy a PS3. Its kind of good for me that they've delayed it as Forza 3 comes out in a couple of weeks.

+1 I'll keep my 360 and play Forza 3, which will probably be far superior and realistic than GT5. Which I like Lift off oversteer accurately portrayed on Focus ST170s ftw!

Forza 2 to me, besides being able to tune a mk2 golf up to 900bhp with 4 wheel drive and a turbocharged V6, was a bitter disappointment, so I would personally hold out for Gt5 - I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Besides, no force on the planet would make me buy another 360.

You're kidding right? Forza 2 is a brilliant driving game. Dont get me wrong I've been the biggest fan of the GT series right from PS1 (GT2 on Bleem! on Dreamcast was 10/10 for me) but for realism Forza is right up there with it. It had some pretty decent reviews on release too.

Nope, I'm not kidding, it was incredibly disappointing. I bought it on launch day, got it home, loaded it up, spent a few hours on it over the course of a week. Graphically it was a jaggie-filled shambles - rather like an upscaled Forza 1 (which imho was a better game). Every car seemed to handle oddly and different to every other racing game I've ever played, including GT1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Prologue, GTR Evolution, GT Legends etc etc. It seemed as though it wanted to be taken seriously as a sim, but also wanted to be fun and it ended up being a confused mess between the two. It was another title, along with Gears of War that contributed to my 360's downfall - hyped to the nth degree but in reality, so mind-bendingly poor. Gears was possibly the most linear, predictable and over-rated shooter I had ever played on a current-gen console at that time and Forza 2 wasn't as good as Forza 1 on the Xbox and was sold within a week.

Forza 2 is much more realistic than any other game i've played (so far) but i've got to say it wasn't as fun as games like Grid and NFS prostreet (both of which competing to be taken seriously as track-racers).
I honestly like Forza 3 will be on a par with GT5 though. No need to get a new console for either one of the games ^_^

I downloaded and played the Forza 3 demo and managed 5 mins on it just before Match of The Day (will have a proper go tonight). Graphics looked spot on and the handling was brilliant. So different to NFS, Grid, etc. In fact the Ferarri California I had a go in handled just like the one in my garage Obviously not... but still, I'm pretty impressed so far. Roll on 23rd October!
