EA frustrated with Wii situation

I actually think that would be similar to the music industry - so much disillusionment with the pap that's put out (and often purely for girls/women) and the perception that there isn't any good games, rightly or wrongly...

Slightly more than a perception!

The wii is showing itself to be as I predicted - a gamecube with a novelty controller. The gamecube didn't have many good games either, was a hardware generation behind and it quite rightly tanked.

I dont mind the Wii. It would never replace my gaming console/pc as the no1 machine in the house but some individual titles are out there that you just dont get on any other console. I'm kind of glad Nintendo tried to do something different with the Wii but I would never consider it to be a gaming machine 'proper.' Harcore gamers scoff at it but I really dont think they were the intended target market to be honest.

Yip, but presumably the developers and publishers now have a big chunk of the market that they're now unsure of...
