Dead Space for £8 is reasonably tempting...

+1, though most of my friends are now playing Borderlands or MW2, very few play either L4D or L4D2.

Is KOTOR any good?
I only ever played it for a few seconds on in store demos.
Might be tempted by that one.

The story, setting and atmosphere of the first KoTOR is very good, it's rather accessible for normal gamers and will still be fun to play. However i feel that if you "truly" want to enjoy the game then you need to get your head around the Dungeons and Dragon 3rd Edition rule set which it's governed by since it'll help the understandings of the mechanics better. KoTOR 2 on the other hand suffered from being rushed to release and was rather unpolished... the story suffered as such imo and in general i didn't care as much about the characters (like some of the random banter between party members from the first KoTOR). However after a few patches the game bugs/glitches are pretty much fixed and although the story suffers, i think the mechanics are much more solid with the greater variety of feats and force powers. Also, the problem i've found with Bioware games is that the tutorial is essentially integrated into the first level/planet, which unfortunately means it *can* be rather tedious and repetitive... Taspir/Taris (can't remember which one ¬.¬) from the first KoTOR wasn't *too* bad, but i absolutely loathe the Peragus Mining Facility from KoTOR2. However once you finish that initial "bore", then the game really comes into its own.

New sale is up. Most notable addition for me is BF2 - complete collection for £8, including the big 1.5gb patch, special forces and the two other addons.

I bought GRID at the weekend for £3.74 but the price has gone back up to £14.99
It's very good though.
