The Devil May Cry demo is definitely worth a look - I haven't a clue what the plot's about, but it's a fcuksight better than the previous games (more action-orientated and usable controls!). It's like a demonic Uncharted, but with better action, graphics and set pieces from what I've seen :o

Ah yes, the less successful follow-up to War...

And DMC isn't exactly easy. And I remember games without save points that were prone to crashing

Bahahahaha Devil May Cry being easy...

Maybe if you listen to the game's advice that the "Game is too difficult for you" and take its suggestion to go to "Human" mode.

However if you're playing the game properly, trying to SS Rank every mission on "Dante Must Die" difficulty is one of the most challenging things to do.

Lol, even a few reviews of the HD trilogy said the controls didn't belong in this gen :)

007 Legends - I swear to God, the PS2 games were better than this. How they fcuked this one up considering it should be exactly the same as the previous two games I don't know. The faffing about you've to do just to get through a level; am I supposed to use the watch or the smartphone here? Either way it's ridiculously fiddly (keep hitting triangle to bring up the right camera 'mode' on the phone, and two of them look very similar).

Stealth is also a nonsense, since you have to continually flick between your watch and your gun, and can easily wipe out any reinforcements anyway! Utterly horrible game.

Goldeneye: 007 is the only James Bond game as far as I'm concerned :P

Ah.

Not played 1 or 2 since i didn't have a PS2 when they released and my 360 broke for the HD Trilogy.

The Controls of 3 were fine though, they're practically identical to how 4 worked (and how the new one works, except you now have a dedicated launch button).

Finally finished Dragon Age 2.

Overall I really enjoyed it, much more than The Witcher 2 (although when i get my PC fixed, i'll be replaying that just to make sure).

There were obviously a few issues (reuse of assets - i.e. using a giant cave and simply cutting off various doors etc. to make every other cave in the game) and having the camera "locked" to a character was rather annoying.

However the tactical depth to the combat and story made it all worth it. Some people complained about staying in Kirkwall for the majority of events, whilst I could see their points, I enjoyed being able to watch the city (and characters) age over the time period and how your actions affected the goings on in the city.

Overall, I can't wait to see Dragon Age 3... especially if they've said it'll take the best points of DA1 and DA2.

I Am Alive - Only just, your input recognition's shocking!

Raw - Not bad, but so old skool you shouldn't pay any more than three quid

House of the Dead Overkill - Goes for a Grindhouse horror feel, which it seems to think means swearing all the time while ignoring that the game's utterly rubbish.

Quantum Theory - character runs at either a snails pace or headlong into scenery. And that's when he's not firing enormous ineffectual weapons at enemies who somehow can skip just an inch either side of the gunfire burst you've just hit them with

Majin something something - great little game about a boy and his ogre where you direct the ogre to take on enemies, open doors and so on whilst getting stuck in yourself or carrying on with the puzzles.

Folklore - Like a hallucinatory Broken Sword or something, pants in every way.

Heavy Rain - well made, but I just don't have the patience for the unnecessary control system (shaking the pad was something most games abandoned years ago!).

PS3 Wolfenstein's quite good in a retro way (WW2 scenario in the vein of original MoH with paranormal elements). There's a silly amount of walking through the streets though, instead of just giving you missions straight up or selecting one and starting it.
