Well, it's utter pants. The local Tesco doesn't have anything other than the game for £38 but you can only pre-order.

I might go have a look tomorrow on the way back from work but otherwise I'll just get it wherever I can get my hands on it.

Apparently, a store in London called Simply Games has been shipping out the game over the last few days. Surprised, since a Tesco store was fined £10,000 for selling two mins early!!!

My sis is going shopping so I gave her the money and instructions to buy it only if the offer's on - I don't consider it worthwhile otherwise. You can almost guarantee a really short campaign and that the MP won't work properly for months.

I only ever bother with multiplayer.

I think I played mw2 for a couple of levels. BLOPS2 I got the day before so did a few levels on that. MW3 never touched the single player.

I've enjoyed the SP in all of them except MW3, that game was generic even for CoD!

Probably should go in the fail thread but went to Tescos tonight to pick up some flowers for my sister. Went and had another look at the gaming section. Again - nothing. The xbox and Ps3 shelves were next to each other and black ops was pre order only. Turned round to go down and saw the psn vouchers. Label stating offer of £25 black ops if you buy psn £25.

Went and asked at the till - can't buy the psn voucher today for tomorrow but he let me reserve it and I could preorder black ops (ie place my £5 deposit) and then pick up both for tomorrow. Hopefully it all works out.

I never play MP because I am so slow it I end up as cannon fodder.

Good to know, cheers!

BTW, that other hoodie was absolute FAIL (XL?! And badly made too) and from a secondary seller... You probably know how I'm gonna play that one ;)

Right, picked up black ops and psn voucher for £50. Had £5 voucher too.

Warning for people going to Tescos - they've apparently kept two versions of the game. Pre-ordered games will have Nuketown as DLC and this is identified by the back of the box (states includes nuketown). People who buy on the day are given the standard version which does not have nuketown - the back of the box mentions nothing about nuketown.

Other people who have pre-ordered with other companies are also reporting no nuketown code (apart from GAME which gives out the code on the pre-order voucher). CHECK YOUR BOX!

Well after a ridiculously long day, I managed to fire it up. Played around six games. Love the maps and MP gameplay. Need to get used to the weapons and the killstreak rewards. Hate the probation thing. Something as simple as multiple disconnections (which makes it look like you keep deliberately leaving games) results in a punishmen of a temporary ban of 4 mins. Not happened to me but a PITA for my clan.

I don't have a copy due to levels of FAIL that would even shock Sony, but that's ridiculous :?

Tesco totally sold out, even online. When they eventually got their sh1t together, they'd sold all their PSN cards... I'll keep an eye on it, but I'm not that bothered about the game ffs. I've also got £30 of Blockbuster 'pre-owned credit' as an option.

The way the developers fcuk about, it needs to be some sort of deal before I'll even consider it!

My local Tesco express has it but for £39. No way would I consider it at that price, especially considering the earlier comments about certain deals.
