Payday 2 - mad fun with a group of friends. Basically a game where you live out all your Heat/The Usual Suspects bank robber fantasies. Very much in the Left4Dead mould. Nowhere near as good with AI team-mates though.

Out of curiosity, is it one of those titles you can give access to, or does everyone have to own it?

Metro 2033 - Still 'meeting people' really, but it seems OK so far. It's certainly well made.

No, you need to have your own copy. It's relatively cheap though.

I enjoyed 2033 - it was a bit... odd in places but a very good game. Last light is even better.

[LIFTED], LL is what I meant  , they were to name it 2034 IIRC - enough to confuse me

Yeah, I thought the sequels were going to be named after the books too. I really must add them to my reading list.

I think you can get a sample off Amazon, I've certainly read a very good chapter of 2033 somehow

Had to send Last Light back, just wasn't in the mood for endless sneaking around in the dark... That's a bit pointless anyway, you'll never run out of ammo or health, really :?

Castle of Illusion demo - it's very well made, but you can tell it'll just be an exercise in old-skool frustration. There's lots of sections you get kicked right out of if you die and a few jumps that require you to be exact etc.

PS3 Resident Evil Revelations demo - Very well put together... Except for the shooting, which is kinda crucial in a game like this :(

It can be genuinely scary in places too, which just rubs salt in.
...

PS3 Dungeons and Dragons demo - The entire demo can be completed in under three minutes and gives you little idea what the game's actually like other than 'Golden Axe with VERY slight RPG elements'. Right down to kicking sack-carrying types for pick-ups.

Sniper 2 - some serious slowdown in the demo and occasionally a deadshot was anything but

Twisted Land: Shadow Town - a point and click adventure that would have been shareware in 1995 and not worth playing even then.

God of War HD - I'd completed this previously, but felt like giving it another bash. Got to a save point that had about 15 minutes fighting either side of it and THEN literal death traps, gave up. Wondered how I'd ever bothered to finish it...
