The game SHOULD turn up today, but it's hard to be hopeful when the dispatch email is only in and they've just sent me the PSN card in a smashed up case Thought Tesco was evil before? It's even worse now that they're incompetent.

Touch wood the problems I initially had seem to be settling. There's a new update out. Had massive fun on nuketown this am, though I was expecting them to do a new map. Not a new skin on an old map. Exactly same layout.

I only installed it this morning, quite surprised to see the Nuketown code was included, though I can't help wondering if every copy had it since you'd have millions of people essentially causing server problems otherwise . Probably won't try the MP until completing SP. So far the plot and set pieces are random as all fcuk. Trying to remember what happened in a nonsensical story from two years ago and then apply that to the new nonsensical story isn't fun. The set pieces have you dying continually since everything's trial and error with the weapon you're given, and they often do next to nothing I'm currently in a mission where I'm controlling multiple units; dull, clumsy, annoying as hell...

Had a quick blast of the MP maps, wasn't impressed. You just seem to be endlessly running through doors and alleyways as opposed to anything interesting looking. The guns have no 'character' for want of a better word, and it's all a bit [LIFTED] MW3. Speaking of which, controlling mechanical units is not big or clever The SP storyline is utterly baffling with the amount of timeline and character jumping going on. I don't even know whether I'll bother finishing it... It's not MW3 levels of bad, but it's definitely the second worst CoD yet for me. And it's going back I suspect

I was wondering whether I should even bother buying. I think Halo 4 might be getting my money instead.

Never really played any of the Halo games, but I'd still suggest 4 over this

Black Ops 2: Nuketown 2025 map pulled from online playlistshttp://www.computerandvideogames.com/37 ... playlists/So this is the retarded idea behind making it a pre-order bonus. I haven't even used the code... would have been nice if they'd actually made it clear it was 'special' (too many smilies need to be used here).

WTF?!?!? If I'd known it was going to be pulled, I wouldn't have bothered holding out for a special edition one. All of those people who pre-ordered are gonna be mega-pi$$ed off because it was implied that the only way to obtain the map would be to pre-order. Now they've got their monies, it looks like Activision/Treyarch are royally rogering everyone.
It basically came up in a separate category of its own called Nuketown 2025/Moshpit - so you got a mixture of games in the same map. Not once did I experience connection/lag issues whilst in this game. IMO, if they were doing this, they should have put it into regular rotation.

That might not help them. It will probably end up in a class action lawsuit and cost them a fortune to defend it. They could find masses of people being able to claim refunds. Then the bad publicity that generates might harm future sales of the game.

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/37 ... playlists/What?! Am I missing something here? Why the fcuk should you have to go into a set list of maps, presumably outside the usual playlist?

More realistic? Like a documentary or something? Look, the original Ops. was fine when the assholes bothered to fix it, that's why I had hope for this one, but I'm out as they say on that show...

When the game first came out, the Nuketown map was not in the multiplayer map rotations. It had its own menu at the bottom and you could play only moshpit ie same map but different game mode each time. You could play a team deathmatch, then when that finished, the next one might be capture the flag. But basically, you could sit there all day long and play Nuketown without ever venturing to any of the other maps. I've read and heard comments that people who were prestiging rapidly were doing so because they could knock up so many points on that map alone. I would have happily settled for it to be part of the normal map rotations so you had a 1 in 15 chance of getting the map.
