What winds me up is the 'DLC' clearly is part of the game otherwise it wouldn't be ready for time of release. Even worse, it wasn't clear how much of the Catwoman story tied in to the main game at the time, and you know what Sony's friggin' servers are like for downloads, never mind on launch day. I haven't even tried Scarecrow's mission pack because it seems to involve racing round the city in the car in a nightmare scenario - sounds about as fun as listening to that cnut Riddler. Who btw, has a three-stage driving section that keeps you from seeing the FULL ending of the game, alongside seeing how a particular scenario turns out. I've done every section of the main game bar this and about twenty almost impossible riddle challenges because it's all split-second timing... Holding back the full ending for that sh1t?

That's very annoying and for some reason gives me an image of Mario Karts in my head except with Batman! For Arkham City, I didn't even have to download since it was on the disc and I unlocked it using the supplied code. There were I think 4 missions that Catwoman did and none of them were critical to the gameplay/storyline but they were integral and it had obviously been designed as such.
I was dreaming about the Mad Hatter section from Arkham City last night. Bugger knows why. The Scarecrow missions in Asylum were amazing, so it's sad to hear they're so cumbersome now.

The Scarecrow missions are now 'DLC', you'd have to buy them if they weren't included (mine were unexpected since I got the WayneTech pack). Yeah, WB would like to sell you a sh1tty version of something that was successful before they started ruining it. They might not even be available on the store yet for all I know.

Just YouTubed everything... ALL the DLC stuff so far is ten minutes long. They'd like you to pay £33 for that sh1t, so Christ knows what it costs separately. They can piss right off. The videos confirmed that the Scarecrow DLC is nothing but dicking about in the car either as timed events or a shootout. Had quite enough of that... There's a coda that only appears ONCE YOU'VE COLLECTED EVERY RIDDLER TROPHY. And it's really short, for the most part ambiguous... it could mean absolutely anything. They knew damn well the given ending wasn't enough for either fans or them. They also knew it was likely Riddler would be the final hurdle as a result, and most people would never see it short of doing what I did. How friggin' dumb is that a way to end a game, never mind a trilogy? I'm incredibly tempted to send the game back, it is broken in places after all

The Batgirl DLC lasts 40 minutes and costs about £6. I wonder how many people are furious at that season pass.

http://www.techradar.com/news/gaming/ba ... on-1299355Basically Autumn 2015 is how long we will have to wait for a proper PC version. I was looking buying this version instead of buying a PS4 at one point. Glad I didn't make the purchase.

Considering you're highly unlikely to ever see the full ending 'legitimately', I wouldn't even buy it mate. And the story's gash for the time required.

Been going through the stories etc that result from Riddler's usual nonsense (surely to fcuk they'll ditch him for the next game?).
If they'd used even a tiny bit of the imagination that went into the background stories the game would have been much better. Within a few paragraphs is more detail and heart than the entire game!
I've also been laughing at the 60's Batman skin. And the car actually looks better with red detailing!

Race now, take revenge in October with Arkham Knight Tumbler and Catwoman DLC | GamesRadar http://www.gamesradar.com/batman-arkham ... venge-dlc/I see by the prices they seem to have realised how much of a swizz the DLC is.

So new skin and bat mobile that they'll charge for?
Any news on the PC fix?

No idea, but the game isn't half what it's made out to be anyway. You'll spend way more time in the car than you should do in a Batman game.

That's very frustrating. Having played Arkham City and Arkham Origins, I'm well versed in traversing the city by grapnel and glide. The Batmobile should make this easier.
Sounds like it's best to wait for the bargain basement price before shelling out.
