I had the MS steering wheel for Xbox 360. It made Forza more fun but I didnt put nearly enough time into getting good with it. It was just too easy to get quicker lap times on the pad and I didnt have to mess around lugging around a huge wheel and connecting it up, etc. With GT5 on the horizon I'm tempted to pick up a used G25 or the cheaper Driving Force GT by Logitech. I'm thinking though if I have the same problems as before it will gather dust and end up on eBay. Especially if it takes time to make the transition. I also think that for accuracy surely you need to use the in-car views? What are peoples thoughts about (accurate) wheels then? |

Tried it and sold it. It just didn't feel like the wheel was actually controlling the steering. |

I've been using steering wheels for driving games since 1994. I just can't do driving games with the keyboard or a pad. I've mainly used the Logitech or Microsoft force-feedback ones of late. On the PS2, I only had the gamepad and never was as good at GT as I was on the PC driving games. The same went for GTA, but because you have to run, as well as drive, you need My new Toyota has paddle gear change, so it is even more fun! ![]() |
