How many games have you not completed in the last three years?
I was bored of COD:MW2 and fancied some driving action. Went for NFS:U for the arcadey feel, over GT5:P. Realised I had nowhere near completed NFS. Nor The Simpsons, Conan, Assassin's Creed 2, Uncharted 2, or Red Dead Redemption. With the latter two, it was because I kept coming back to play MW2 with friends online so eventually stopped playing them even though I really enjoyed what I did play. With the others, it was just boredom.
Come to think of it, the only game I completely finished start to finish was Batman: Arkham Asylum. Thoroughly enjoyed it, even looking for those Riddler things.
What about you?

Not finished a game since Gta San Andreas. I find them boring and too difficult these days!

Uncompleted games seems to be a bit of a problem with the current generation of consoles, and I know any amount of people (me included) who have a tonne of games they'll probably never get round to playing again I have Prototype, Call of Juarez, and God knows how many PS2 games still to finish, though I've completed Batman, the Uncharteds, Wolverine, AvP, Darksiders and nearly all the COD games... It's just the modern world I reckon - how many of us struggle to read even a newspaper these days without getting distracted by something*? * And I don't mean page 3

On my shelf right now I have not completed:
Uncharted 2 Little Big Planet Halo Reach Bayonetta GTAIV Blur Dirt 2 Bioshock 2 Resident Evil 5 Borderlands Viva Pinata 2 Halo ODST Tiger Woods 10 Prince of Persia Batman Forza 3
And that doesnt include those I sold off before completing. I do try to complete games but sometimes the next new game comes along and you forget about the last one. I need more time to play.

The last game I remember finishing was mirrors edge, before that it was prince of Persia sands of time. Both really good games with a good story and both similar in their acrobatics. I still haven't finished crysis, far cry and many more.
Ooh, I just remembered I have finished hl2 and all its episodes. And portal which again is similar to mirrors edge with all its acrobatics.
There are far more games that I have started and not finished than ones I have played through.

Man, you should really finish those, if for no other reason than the next games should be excellent

I'm really bad for not finishing games. I could probably give a shorter list of games I have completed. For example, to this day I still have not completed FF VII, though I have completed FF VIII.
I don't think I've completed a GTA game without using cheats for weapons either.

You've just reminded me, I've never completed GTA4, though that's more because the game can be incredibly maddening...

+1. Found it much easier to kill enemies with rocket launchers and drive tanks over everything.

Very disappointed with gta4 it's quite difficult in parts and not particularly rewarding. My main issue as I suspect is the same for many is that I don't have as much time to plug away at it as I did as a kid. Also, as I get older and time gets more precious, a day on the playstation with the curtains drawn seems a bit of a waste of my ever diminishing life!

Unless you can actually finish a game then it gets frustrating.

Doom 3 - booorriiiinnngg! Assassins creed - started off with promise, then got very repetitive. All of the GTA games - as both of the above. Same goes for just cause. I'd love for someone to turn out an open world game with some longevity, or at least enough originality to make it to the end without getting bored.

LOL, I played Doom 3 up to the point where red sh*t started appearing all over the floor and walls then I stopped as I got bored. Assassins Creed I really liked until I got to about the 3rd city and then I realised that it was just the same stuff over and over. Don't think I've ever finished a GTA game.

I've managed as far as the first few levels of Hell, twice. On the second attempt I had decided that I would play it through to the end, then I got to Hell again and I remembered just how crap it was. On a positive note, I have just completed the Marine missions of Aliens vs Predator (it has been sitting on my shelf for two months). I've rather enjoyed it so far - wandering around alone, down dark tunnels, with just the tick, tick, tick of the motion tracker for company. I hope the Alien and Predator missions are up to the task.
