Personally, I'm gonna pick it up when it's about £15 (which shouldn't be too long maybe  ), but has anyone here actually played it?

Here's a couple of reviews:

Me too unless it goes on the Christmas list. :D

Now, where did I put that list?

I played in the Open and Closed beta.

The multiplayer is made by DICE (a la Bad Company 2) and the best description would be somewhere in between the smoothness of Modern Warfare 2's MP but at a slower pace slightly akin to Bad Company 2.

However whilst in theory it sounds like it would be awesome, it doesn't seem to have completely nailed the execution. There's some polish missing from the game, especially with regards to spawn points and overall multiplayer "control".

For example:

- Spawn Camping, most maps these days are balanced so this doesn't usually happen anymore, however in the beta, one of the maps had it so that if the enemy could sneak round (not particularly hard), they could end up on a ridge overlooking the enclosed Marine spawn point. Needless to say, high ground = win.

- Next off, they tried the BC2 "spawn next to a teammate" system akin to BC2's squads, however this doesn't quite work however since i didn't seem to have any control who or where i spawned next to. Which often meant spawning next to some guy barely in cover and leading me to get Sniped since i was out in the open.

Medal of Honor sells 1.5million in five days

Analysts have called Medal of Honor review scores "a black eye for EA", but it's EA that's doing the slapping. Its war series revival has sold 1.5 million copies in just five days.

That's according to official GfK-ChartTrack data, which recorded the milestone five days after the game's US launch, and just two days after it arrived in Europe and Asia.

"Medal of Honor is one of EA's most storied franchises and we're thrilled to see that fans worldwide have embraced it," said EA boss Frank Gibeau.

EA is celebrating the game's achievement with a free DLC pack that adds a new 'Clean Sweep' mode and two new maps to the game's multiplayer offerings. Yes, FREE! It's coming on November 2 - more info on that here.
