   | The last console I had was a Wii (which I was pleased with for the first couple months) and then I sold it before going travelling... about 3-4 years ago.
I've now finally bought an XBox360!

I got it with Kinect and Dance Central.

I've got CODBLOPS at home as my housemate had a spare copy!

Going to set it up tonight! Can't wait!

   | Apparently, Xbox doesn't have the multiplayer problems that PS3 has. The only thing that dissuaded me from ever buying an xbox was the RRoD. _________________ He fights for the users.

   | Not when the ps3 is easily £100 more and is noisier than the new 360 _________________TwitterCharlie Brooker: Macs are glorified Fisher-Price activity centres for adults; computers for scaredy cats too nervous to learn how proper computers work; computers for people who earnestly believe in feng shui.

   | Give it a few months and I'll have my HD TV and I'll prob buy a PS3 aswell Just seen that LBP2 is out in Jan! Still, no regrets, Forza is excellent and GT5 is reported to be not that much of an improvement so overall I'm happy.

   | PS3 is also a capable BluRay player, and with the addition of PlayTV, a decent Freeview based PVR too. My PS3 is used for more than just games as result, and we don’t need two extra boxes.

   | Though a bit of a bugger if someone wants to watch a BR, whilst another wants to play a game. Sometimes it doesn't matter if you have an extra box._________________Finally joined Flickr

   | My HTPC/server does that with films, Freesat HD, Freeview (if I could get a signal where I live), BBC iPlayer, and HD streaming etc Don't get me wrong, I know I'm going to get a PS3, just not for a while_________________TwitterCharlie Brooker: Macs are glorified Fisher-Price activity centres for adults; computers for scaredy cats too nervous to learn how proper computers work; computers for people who earnestly believe in feng shui.

   | I must say I haven't noticed my PS3 making too much noise. I certainly don't notice it while watching a DVD/BR or playing games. I imagine it may pick up after it's been on for a few hours when the fan works overtime but I always switch mine off when I'm not using it._________________

jonbwfc I was behind her in a queue today - but I wouldn't describe it as 'bushy'.

   | The fans are quieter yes - they're larger and spin slower, but the DVD drive is the same, so presumably just as noisy and prone to gouging discs... The PS3 is more expensive, but I couldn't say I miss my 360 or that I'd ever buy another one._________________
