One of the people in my office was looking for an alternative ring tone for her phone as we all have hers stuck in our heads now.

Anyway, one of them was London Bridge is Falling Down which brought back memories of playing Lemmings as it was one of the tunes.

Not played Lemmings in fricking ages! Just been browsing through some of the levels and it appears I almost completed all thelevels on it! Even the Mayhem ones!

I even remember some of the passwords and the levels that they gain access to. LOL! Also the first 15 or so levels are ingrained in my memory forever!

Brilliant game!

One of the best things about Lemmings was the music, IMO.

In particular this example:

Used to play the Acrorn version at school when we upgraded from BBC Micros. One (older) guy had it on floppy and if you had a blank disk and some powers of persuasion he'd do you a copy.

I really want to play it now.

Yeah, only goes up to 10 on each difficulty.

There's a PPC version of Lemmings for the mac on Softpedia, but nothing more modern. Shame really, it's a classic. The PS3 version looks great, but it doesn't have anywhere near as many levels as the original.

I'm having to make do with Pingus for the time being...

I have a Lemmings disk for the PC somewhere. Must fish it out.
