like the laying down and single shoot set up
and the its not the same re game play like Crysis you need to think before you change suit modes (not as intuitive as 1)

will finish it

but on playing it

but Fing hell Crytec

You are wrecked it

I don't like the save system as I keep stuffing up one part and have to start all over again. But I am really enjoying the game.

Going to get this installed tomorrow. Is the save system funky then?

I seem to remember the original was a bit random in its saves. Maybe I'm imagining that though.

Will only save at certain points at end of level
no quick save like 1

and I never had a problem with in game saves in Crysis :) :) :)

and a new update has been released yesterday

fixing some things

but the save fix still to come

I completed it at the weekend, it was quite enjoyable and challenging in places; even on the default difficulty level.

It is quite pretty too, and not very demanding of system resources (relatively).

Stick with it, I felt it was a bit meh for the first 30-60 minutes but it does get much better.

The save system is infuriating in places - there are a couple of pretty hefty sections with a large number of enemies, that have no checkpoints midway through. Stuff it up and you'll be replaying the last 15-20 minutes.

Overall, I thought it was good.

I can't believe this sh!t. Just because I have a x2 card it means it tries to give me a frikkin fit flashing at me like a bugger if it's in full screen mode.

Yeah it's ok when it's not full screen but it loses some appeal having a red cross in the top right of the screen.

Frikkin arses.

That is all.

Drivers?

Your card should easily handle it.

Apparently it's a known crossfire issue, as mine's a 4870x2 it works like crossfire. Unlike proper crossfire though I can't just switch one off, like others have taken cards out of xfire, in order to get it to work.

No problems out of full screen, just have to wait for a patch apparently. T!ts.

Edit: Hang on, crap, daft old me. Apparently 11.3 solves these issues, I'm on 11.2, time to stop ranting and start downloading lol.

Further reading suggests they don't, a conflict with the 1.1 patch but, weirdly, decreasing brightness by 1 and then up by 1 sorts it???? Will give that a go the morrow. Either that or 11.4 and caps 5. Apparently...

Really? I didn't know that.

My GTX 295 lets me run a single GPU, or re-task one for physx in the drivers.

Maybe you can, TBH I don't know, I've never considered it an option - if I have two chips I want to use them both! :D

Edit: Phew. 11.4 seems to sort it out. Time to start again. :D

You'd think it'd be sorted before release, at least the 11.4ccc sorts it out for me.

Looks much better without the fitting :)

I had the screen flashing with my 4870x2. Disabling Catalyst AI fixed it for me. Took ages to find that nugget of info.
