Erm, no. As a general rule, portable gaming* only works when it's relatively cheap, and that's anything but, no matter how you look at it.

Also, is there really any need for the stupid back panel? Hell, even the touchscreen? I appreciate they might introduce cheap iPhone-style games in the near future, but, well, the flaws are pretty obvious there ;)

* Portable gaming that'll need versions of AAA games to be successful, and will only pale in comparison to their big screen siblings - it's worth remembering few people seem to take their portable system far from a socket...

I've ordered one. I get a lot of use out of my PSP, I'd be quite happy for a tech upgrade in that regard. It is expensive, but you get a lot of tech for your money and none of it seems 'gimmicky'.

For the amount I use my PSP (generally on holiday), no. No I won't.
