I'm being pestered for Christmas ideas. I'm always happy with games so am I overlooking anything?

PS3 Uncharted 3
PS3 Assassins Creed Revelations
PC Battlefield 3
PC CoD MW 3

Anything else I'm missing? Tomb Raider, X:Rebirth and ME3 aren't out until next year...

I should add I still have The Witcher 2, ME2, Dead Space 2 waiting to be opened and I'm going to get LA Noire started this week.

:D

Arkham City!

Better yet, the first game is about £10-12 in the shops, and you really should play it first if you haven't already. You don't need to be a big Batman fan or anything ;)

Didn't really grab my attention TBH...

Mind you I wasn't taken with how Infamous looked and I've just blasted through both of them, twice, getting 100% trophies on the way so maybe I should give it a look.

Seriously, give the first game a go, you can always sell it for close to what you paid! ;)

As above, I'd recommend trying out Arkham Asylum. The second is like a larger, beefed up version of the original, so unless you enjoy Asylum, you won't enjoy Arkham City.

I may just put that on the list to myself then seeing as that'll be the cheapest. :)

Yup, go for it mate, it's a great game.

I'd like to say MW3 for my xmas list too, but I don't really play MP anymore and the single player campaigns just get shorter and shorter. I think I did MW2 in one sitting.

Same reason why I haven't bothered with Battlefield 3.

I know what you're saying, when I put them down I thought I should stipulate only one, not both. Actually I may scrap one of them and put the Fringe series down, it's supposed to be good.

TBH it's tricky knowing what to put down, I'm never too fussed with getting presents. I could put down a load of computer gear but I wouldn't want anyone spending too much on me.

I'm not likely to ask for games as I'm looking at getting camera gear but if I did these would certainly be on the list:

Batman Arkham City
Elder Scrolls Skyrim
Sonic Generations
Assassins Creed Revelations
Uncharted 3

I seem to have missed all of the Elder Scrolls, I take it they're good?

My first experience with Elder Scrolls was Oblivion on the PC and I thought it was very good.

Let me put it this way; I clocked up in excess of 500 hours on Oblivion, and I'm still playing it periodically.

O'rly?

The only thing I've played that has come close to that is X3:Terran Conflict but then again there is no ending to that. Ever.

That was across three different run throughs of different style characters (standard fighter, mage and a sneaky character). There are tons of side quests available, as well as the main quest and the 5 'guild' quests.

Just a shame you don't game on the PC as that then gives you the modding community which is immense.

Eh? I do, all my RPGs and FPS are on the PC.

That's why I listed as BF3 and CoD as being for PC. ;) :D

I couldn't imagine doing a big RPG on the PS3 TBH.
