Internet says:
Faster movement while over-encumbered, and some stuff about climbing up mountains.

Would I buy a horse? No

Would I start the assassin's guild early in order to get one? Yes

They're pretty useful when you have to reach remote locations that aren't near anywhere you've walked to before as they do cut down on the time it takes. The one from the Dark Brotherhood is also a pretty bad-ass fighter when you aren't mounted.

I've just reached the Hall of Valour. Do I carry on or do I go to sleep?

Carried on and now I've completed the main quest. I feel....underwhelmed?

Didn't get round to starting the Blades' request when I was in the meeting.

What I did was travel Around in a circle and then sleep for 8 hrs. By that point, I could go round again. Riften seems easiest because you've got the stalls in the middle, the pawn shop and the inn all very close together. The blacksmith in Whiterun and the goods store also have quite a bit of cash. The other places less so.

I'm debating what to do with my magical items. Do I bother breaking the enchantments, learning it and applying it to other weapons? I wish I could combine enchantments and just wield a superweapon.

I think by this point in morrowind, where I had completed the main questline, I did things like activate god mode and give myself awesome attributes so I could jump and I'd reach the clouds, or kill all enemies with one blow.

You can...

Level 100 enchanting lets you apply 2 enchantments to a weapon (It's the final perk), smithing level 50 lets you improve them too iirc

I'm at 100 smithing and speech though some irritating grinding. need to sort out my alchemy/enchanting then going to go into the field with some epicly good light armour then just let the wildlife attack me and/or block so I can level up very quickly

Trying to find a way to improve my restoration/destruction is proving to be difficult though, apparently there is a spell that lets you level up alteration/restoration quickly but I've yet to see it.

Found a weird quirk when I went to the town near the assassins guild, a dragon appeared and stupidly I turned to long range magic, attacked a guard and they all started attacking me so I ran then killed the dragon from a distance with arrows, when I returned I got the dragon soul but couldnt find the skeleton to get the bones/scales :(

I was thinking of something with 10 enchantments on it or something.

Anyway smithing has been maxed out. Speech is quite high - seventies. Two handed is maxed out.

I've spent another 90 mins flogging all my stuff. Another 50k gold generated there.

Just found Aela the Huntress  *ahem* possibly marriage material... don't think she feels the cold too much, anyway...

Concentrating on Archery at the moment, with the sneak damage*3 upgrade perk and enchanted archery armour gauntlets and helmet I can now do a sniper-y one-shot, one-kill on many enemies that are a right pain in the arse otherwise.

EDIT: also I exclusively use the Marked for Death shout (fully upgraded - 3dps and -75 armour for 1 minute) when you catch a crowd the whole lot suffer and life is considerably easier.
