30 consultants on a game! How many do they actually need? No wonder the games cost so much.

That's what I was saying in another thread, spend the money on actual development!

You probably only need one or two. One who could actually tell how they operate, what equipment they have how they select it for a mission, vegetation that would be in the area. Another could advise on the background stuff like helicopter fly-ins and limitations etc. Also the restriction to active personnel only could be a security risk. So why not have ex service men who had actually done similar missions?

Agreed - sounds ridiculous. Two or three should cover it and the rest spent on game development. I would rather play a game that is slightly inaccurate but really good than a highly accurate but crap game.

If they want a realistic game, no respawns and you only get what ever ammo that you take with you. You could call in a mortar or air support there is a time lag. I think that better game play is more important that total reality. If necessary explain why the differences.
