TBH I feel the same. MW2 was awesome. BLOPS 1 was good. It went downhill after that. I still don't understand why I can play with my friends without problems. Getting booted out of the lobby/map isn't fun. Neither are the multiple attempts at trying to create parties. The lag problem is as bad as ever.

And I suspect this will be the same game engine from 2009.
