Microsoft reverses position on Xbox One DRM

In summary : No online check in, region free, game disks can be lent/sold as people wish
In quick summary : The same as Sony announced last week, and a complete change from their previous position.

New policy will be implemented as a launch day patch for all XBox Ones.


Blimey.

It is good that they have changed but really did they think any of this through beforehand? Sony really played a blinder and got through scot free without upsetting the public. Clearly Microsoft did little research as to how customers used consoles and only listened to publishers who had their own agenda. If anyone had really bothered to research their customers they would not have been so idiotic.
