They new prices are roughly what has previously been charged for the same releases on PSN. kind of not the point though...

Xbox 360 beta update 'raises EU game prices' 400MSP cost £3.40. Games that used to cost 400MSP will cost £4.49 800MSP cost £6.80. Games that used to cost 800MSp will cost £8.99 and so on. Basically, the change from MSP to 'real money' will miraculously seen prices rise by a whisker short of a third. Oh, and the rate they'll convert any existing MSP you may have? At the 'old' rate from before, not the new rate now, so any MSP you may have left will effectively be devalued by a third unless you spend them before the swap over. Nice. |

Even at their worst Sony didn't mess up this often - what the hell's going on? If they've any wit, they'll claim this is just 'part of the beta, not final'. |
