Having been looking at some of the promo videos for this, I can see my long standing embargo on Sony products (ever since their root kit debacle) coming to an end. It looks incredibly good.

A PS3's totally worth it now - 500Gbish of storage, really cheap new and second-hand games, iPlayer, Sky something or other, Netflix and Lovefilm if you use 'em, plays a lot of media formats, Blu-Ray player, media streaming, a browser if you're truly desperate

I'd agree with the sentiments above about the cheap games (there are still current releases I'm waiting to play like Last of Us also) but if you want to watch iPlayer/4OD/ITVPlayer you'd be better drawing program out on a pad and watching it back flick-book style. Lovefilm instant on the other hand works really well. As for GT6 I am looking forward to it. GT5 was a bit unpolished and the career was as uneventful as ever, bringing nothing new to the table for previous games. What it did really well though was handling. Using the G27 wheel I've literally had a sweat on trying desperately and fighting with the wheel to drive a Countach around Rome at speed (assists off) but also has a grin as wide as my face throwing a Bini around Eiger Nordwand. If GT6 retains this but adds some shine it will tide me over until a proper next gen release. I'm not the only one playing it in the house either

4OD and the ITV player suck balls, but iPlayer works great for me

Netflix and iPlayer work incredibly well for us, so much so that we'll be kissing Sky goodbye come the end of our contract.

I am in a block with a satellite already installed so it would be very easy to install Sky, but I cannot justify the cost considering how little I watch.

More info released about a week ago including details of the Special Edition (£20 extra, some cars come with additional more powerful versions it would appear).
Of particular amusement was the fact that they've included the moon buggy as one of the vehicles...

I wonder how people will adjust to the low gravity?
