I saw the trailer by accident and just can't wait!

clicky

In fact, as soon as I saw the collectors edition, I went ahead and ordered it. I've never pre-ordered anything before!

Hmm. Including a 14" long bladed throwing object - that's going to end well :).

Most collectors editions you just think 'Who cares? I'll buy the cheaper one', but this definitely bucks the trend 8-)

As I gather, it'd be blunted plastic, rather than steel (though obviously I was hoping it was steel and I could sharpen the edges    ).

So I started playing this game again last night. I haven't reinstated my previous gameplay back up so I couldn't restart with everything unlocked, but I still enjoyed it. In some respects, it does feel better to have focussed gameplay. You also appreciate or notice the subte things like Batman's shadow changing with you in the tunnels.

Yeah, I will eventually go back to it. It has a real atmosphere to the setting that just got lost in City. And I can't imagine the next one will have too much to anchor it :(

I never got round to completing this game the second time around - it got abandoned and then I started playing Origins. Hungry for more Batman, I went back to the beginning and played this game.

Single focussed storyline. The linear action didn't detract. Still only 90% complete because although the story was completed and I found all of the riddles, I didn't complete all of the challenges, and some of them are HARD!

Moving on to Arkham City.
