Got a couple of transatlantic flights coming up, so after recommendations for interesting games to play. Happy to pay for them up front, and not all that keen on games that rely heavily on a Freemium model.
I've played Real Racing 3 as much as I can without having to spend a fortune, currently enjoying XCOM: Enemy Within an awful lot, but not sure what else to have a go at.

SuperHexagon was free (not sure if it still is) and doesn't seem to require in-app purchases, although I wouldn't necessarily describe it as interesting - infuriating might be a better description so maybe not a good choice for a long flight.

Monument vallet was very good but very short and best on ipad.
FWIW I've always loved Airport mania 1 & 2, and I used to love the Big Fish games where you have to solve puzzles/clues along the way to find the story.

Hitman Go & Lara Croft Go are both excellent (and essentially puzzle games rather than action games)

Download some films, some music and some reading material too. Last transatlantic flight was boring. Also look at sorting out your jetlag by adjusting your sleep cycle.

Really enjoying Hearthstone so far. It feels quite familiar having played Magic the Gathering a lot, albeit Hearthstone is somewhat simpler.
