http://www.batmanarkhamknight.comFrom the 'original' Rocksteady team, not the lot who did the last one. Plus - Batmobile! The trailer is chuffing AWESOME.

I'll keep an eye on it but this series has already been run into the ground through sheer greed, 'finale' or not.

That was a highly impressive trailer and like the original Arkham asylum it ranks up there with some awesome film trailers. Currently playing origins and it is buggy and crap. A few good things but not enough to save it. I wished this had been released instead since it would have been PS3 but I guess this will be next gen only. Disappointed.

According to someone I know who would know, the trailer is not specially rendered CGI. Those are the graphics the game will have, or a very close approximation of them.

In some ways I knew this was gonna happen. What disappoints me is that it seems to be a trilogy so it's a bit crap not being able to play all three on one console. I might just get the PC version of all three.

There's details on the villains at CVG - I personally don't want to know in case I ever do play the game (I knew absolutely everybody who would appear in Origins and that was the last thing that game needed).

New trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7q4U_QRcg84It would need to have a really good storyline like the first game for me to give a crap at this point, I've seen the same action too many times already.

I quite like the feel of open-world Arkham games and with the Batmobile added in for variety, I'd be happy to play this. It shouldn't be glitchy like Arkham Origins. Currently replaying Arkham Asylum and the closed world makes me feel claustrophobic.

Story is my main thing. There was a lack of it with the last two games, though I have to say Origins at least felt more focused. It impacts greatly for me whether in or outdoors, creates the atmosphere. Let's be honest, apart from the car we've almost certainly seen everything the series can offer short of new graphics.

True but more of the same isn't necessarily a bad thing but in that context I agree that story is important. Origins had a vague direction but nothing compulsory. More than anything, I loved the detective side of things because was more developed. Asylum does have a more linear, closed feel to it but that may have helped the storyline or contributed by the storyline.
So far, the gameplay in City is superior to Asylum (yes I know it's a newer game) but I'm struggling to link attacks and combos in Asylum where it was easier in City and stupidly easy in Origins (hitting 30-40 combos).

Yeah the guns thing surprised me. The delay didn't.
