Anyone tried this?

Impressive mod, runs great, changes a few annoyances from the original game whilst improving textures, including some from Clear Sky.

Most important change to me is:

- Freeplay:
after you beat the game with "good" ending, you'll get the dialog that will let you continue the game in freeplay mode, allowing creatures and NPCs migrate freely, it will be a living and breathing zone with self sustained A-Life and unscripted events. This feature doesn't remove the ending scene so you can enjoy it. You can skip the entire story line from the start by pressing ESC+T while in game and teleporting to last map


I'm using it now and I like it a lot!

Just finished SCS.

Along with the original it has to be one of the lamest games I've ever played, especially the rushed ending.

I wouldn't just randomly gripe, it's just that I've just finished it. :D

Found this thread on a web search....been trying to download this mod and it just craps out halfway, says file can't be saved or something. Anyone know of another source to get it ?

No, I just followed the trail back from the artistpavel blog. When I get my motherboard and CPU back (mobo failed and is being replaced), I'll try and share the installer from my own webspace, but it won't be until next week.

I'll put it up for a short time. The version I have needs Smart Mod Manager, but the latest version on the Artistpavel site has a handy exe installer, so you are better off with that one.

So I have Stalker installed and all patched up, I install Mod Manager then the Mod ?

That's right. Install & run Mod Manager, then search for the big 7-zip file you have downloaded. It'll ask you to confirm where Stalker is installed and away you go. It'll take a while to patch the files across. You can also uninstall this way too.
