I refuse to pay monthly for any game. I like the look of Eve, but for the monthly cost I would feel that I couldn't play anything else or it would be a waste of money. For the cost of these games I could buy a new game instead.

Appendage-sucking illegitimate children! They're trying really hard to sink to depths lower than I ever thought possible. They'll not be getting any more money from me. It would be like EA charging a subscription for Battlefield 2...it won't work!

They did microtransactions for BF: Heroes though, but you didn't have to buy them There are 2 things from this that make me happy 1. I didn't buy the game, and won't (or download etc, flat out boycott) 2. I bought borderlands instead

Gamers are hypocrites Especially PC gamers (see the boycott post) People claim they won't buy something.... then the game sells over 3m in ONE week in the UK I think Activision can go take a Cleveland Steamer on every gamer who buys MW3 and people WILL still buy it

I thought that was partly down to Sainsbury's and co selling it for less than the £45 all of the gaming stores were charging? Or maybe this was part of the plan?

I think that was a coincidence the pricing on it. A lot of the supermarkets had big offers on big games to get people in the doors. Asda had Op Flashpoint on offer as well as Fifa/pro evo a while ago just after release for about £25
