Yes I have bought it for the PC.

When I heard about the lack of dedicated servers for the PC I wasn't going to but I caved! I'm glad I did, I haven't had any lag from playing using the IWnet system, it works fast and has given me some enjoyable matches.

Clans and friends can still play with on the same game through the friend system or xfire, just not in there own server. And lets face it (we shall take CS as an example), 90% of dedicated servers out there were full of stupid mods and annoying downloads (lets not forget those sounds!).

Its currently ranked 2nd for the week behind the ever constant WoW on xfire and its bloody good fun.

I've got it on 360 and it's excellent.

Working my way through the special ops after completing the campaign a couple of days ago. Done Alpha and Bravo on veteran, just starting on Charlie. I love doing them in two player with a friend on Xbox Live. :)

Will probably have a crack at the campaign on veteran once I'm done on special ops.

I haven't got it and don't intend to get it.As a clan member of a sniper clan i cant play the game as i want to on multiplayer.

I have seen it on the xbox (daughters boyfriend) and it looks really good but i intend to stick by my principles and not give IW & Activision any of my cash :x

I see this as the thin end of the wedge in slowly dumming down PC gaming as i know.I dont want to be paired with players of the same ability etc etc etc.

yours wecrookie

Got it for the Xbox today....completed the main story...today... Running through the Spec Ops now, need to find some people on live to play with on it. I was pretty dubious about it tbh. The part in the Favellas, when I was watching the videos, looking at photos, I felt it was too much like Army of Two. It wasn't. I really enjoyed it!!

Still playing it on Xbox. I've now given myself a clan tag (just for fun) - [X404]

i just think the game is cack, just seems like another boring FPS, which TBH i already have enough of, and they werent overpriced

in other news im back on BF2, and loving it somewhat. still suck, but its fun, and in the end isnt that what its all about?

Personally, the multiplayer changes don't bother me in the slightest.

It's a long time since I've played online on anything other than a casual basis. I used to play clan matches and spent far too much time in game, but I got a life.

I'd go one further and say that the online scene is getting too full of elitist w@nkers, who make it less than enjoyable for newbies. So, anything that makes it more accessible for newcomers is a good thing in my opinion.

If you don't like it, don't play it.

I think the SP side of it pretty enjoyable, if rather short. I may even have a go online to see if this world-ending move by IW is really that catastrophic.

That's what I expected and as for BF2, completely agree. BF2 came out in 2005 - it is now the end of 2009 and it has just had a huge 2gb patch and a new map - for free - do you think anyone will be playing MW2 in 2014?

not just one map, the booster packs have been released for free with it too: new maps/weapons, and a whole new force to play as

CS:S and CS 1.6 are even older, dread to think how many players they have :)

anyway, i reckon the BF2 patch requires its own thread, what do you think Gav?

Well, if C**l of D**y gets its own thread - a 2gb patch for a game that is actually good should get one too!
