I was given this for xmas (well, actually I was given Star Wars - Force Unleashed for PS3 but I changed it for this as I don't have a PS3).

I haven't played any Resident Evil games since the one that starts on a train (not sure which one).

I really like it :D

Just the right difficulty in places and keeps you on the edge of your seat when exploring the darker areas :D

It feels wrong shooting all the black people in the heads though as that seems to be what I'm doing at the moment.

I also really like the gun upgrades. It gives it an RPG aspect.

They were accused of racism in some quarters because of that :)

If I ever get around to playing more of the earlier games I'll give it a go on the PS3...

For me its the best Res Evil since the original. I love it. Great playing it co-op too.

Me and a friend played it for a while on the 360, i like it quite a bit although i wouldn't be able to play it singleplayer because i couldn't put up with the Partner AI. I think the game can only get better on the PC with a mouse and keyboard, and was tempted to get it in the Steam sale, but £15 is still too much for me, especially when i own it on the consoles.

The guns do feel rather good, and the upgrade system is also very nice. I also like the unlockable guns you can get to (by fully upgrading certain weapons) as well as other unlockables like infinite ammo which makes it more like a general shooter than a survival shooter.

I pointed this out to my friend. It was rather bad when i told him that what we were doing was essentially killing black people for their bling (we were trying to farm some money for upgrades).

I brought it for the PS3, hated the controls so ended up selling it on

I've no idea what the PS3 controls are like for RE, but does anyone else find the default controls for PS3 games to generally be a mess until you set them yourself? :?

Generally yes and I tend to have a layout of choice but with RS5 you only have about three variants to the default and they are all poor. Would have been nice to be able to setup the pad yourself, another thing I didn’t like with the game was the shooting stance and that fact you couldn’t move about whilst aiming.
