Ex-Black developer, Stuart Black has admitted that his new "ultimate shooter", Bodycount was influenced by Lady Gaga.

Speaking in the latest Official PlayStation Magazine, Black confessed that watching Gaga at Glastonbury made him want to "shake up games in the same way that Gaga is turning the pop world upside down."

He said: "I looked at the software titles I have on my shelves from the last few years, and felt like they were really beardy." So Black set about building a team to make something new and exciting, "A shooter for the 21st century."

Bodycount - which is being developed at Codemasters Guildford - has been described as a "spectacular and frankly mental first-person shooter".
