Activision has been busy plundering the music industry of some of its mightiest stars, securing a host of top tracks for the likes of Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock, Call Of Duty: Black Ops and DJ Hero 2.

For the self-discerning rock fan, reformed Seattle grungesters Soundgarden are supplying a brand new track for Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock entitled 'Black Rain'. It will join classics by the likes of Jane's Addiction ('Been Caught Stealing'), Black Sabbath ('Children Of The Grave') and A Perfect Circle ('The Outsiders').

On the electronic side of the fence, DJ Hero 2 will feature an in-game appearance from production maestro David Guetta and Deadmau5, who will also be a playable character, while Usher's chart-topping 'OMG' storms the tracklisting.

Eminem's new album 'Recovery', which is out on 21 June, contributes an "edgy new track" to November's anticipated Call Of Duty: Black Ops.

Finally, urban crime thriller True Crime: Hong Kong has landed the legendary knob-twiddler/rapper Pharrell Williams for the lead track. He's joined on the soundtrack by the up-and-coming R&B, pop and jazz singer Rhea, who we're not sure we've heard of. We've heard of Chris Rea, though.
