Sega has a collection of much-loved Megadrive (Genesis) games in its retro library and it seems determined to cash in on them. More MD games have arrived on the Steam store for PC, and iTunes App Store for iPhone and iPod Touch.

Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle, Dr Robotnick's Mean Bean Machine, Eternal Champions "and many more" will make up the second set of MD games to hit Steam. Prices for the games will start at $2.99.

Over on Apple's App Store, iPhone and iPod owners can now find Ecco the Dolphin and Space Harrier II available for download. These come as part of a Sega Genesis Series of Apps being released throughout the summer, so there'll be more on the way.

Space Harrier II will cost $0.99, while Ecco comes in at $2.99.
