They apparently don't depreciate much. I paid 270 quid for the 32GB iphone 4 and mazuma/envirophone etc will give me 170 for my old iPhone 3G (not even a 3GS). I've got a two generations better phone for 100 quid net. If I was selling a 3GS I would have got the '4' for 40 quid.... Jon

Thanks for making my point. So after the initial expense you can enjoy an iPhone for less than £50, though the contract is another matter.

Bigger priorities. Wedding photographer etc. for starters. If you chose the alternative in that scenario then I hope you really really like your phone

iPhone 3G running iOS 3 - I did upgrade it to 4, found it was so badly implemented and slow that I downgraded it to the previous version. And that is where it will stay.

Well I still am (and developing) but moved mainly to Android now May move back when WP7 is out, maybe not

A friend gave me his old mobile with windows on it, but I reverted back to using my Nokia 1650.

I once had an Orange HTC phone with Windows Mobile on it. I very quickly changed it for a Sony Ericsson.
