Just started playing Space's greatest hits on Spotify... my God, bar one song, it just screams embarrassing 90's

I also can't listen to Alanis Morissette any more, though I'd say that's true of a lot of people now

Is it just a case of not really wishing to remember that time, or is hindsight 20-20 when it comes to quality? :?

Nirvana.
It's just not the same when it's not on a C90 cassette your mate made you.

The Kaiser Chiefs, most of Franz Ferdinand. The same with most music I suppose, it's good at the time.

I'm not so sure though, it only seems to be certain groups or singers with me :?

I've either got no shame or impeccable taste, but I can't think of any bands I feel that way about.

Pretty much all. I just don't "get" music at the moment.

I listen to music mainly at the weekend, when we have breakfast together and the youngest daughter insists on having the radio on...

I often wonder what groups we're gonna present to the kids... even most of today's mainstream rock/indie acts will be laughed at, never mind pop :(

And that's assuming things don't actually get worse - for the most part, I'm still listening to the hits and rock stuff of my dad's era

Alice In Chains. I listened to them an unbelievable amount in college. Now, if one of the tracks comes up on random it almost always gets skipped, with the possible exception of some of the unplugged stuff. Just really doesn't grab me any more.
