The thing is, the "not normal" thing now only lives on in meme form. I can't remember the last 100% genuine bona fide legitimate Bratty reference to non-normality!

And that's down to us!

It sounds like an awful lot of sponsibility! I don't like being sponsible for stuff!

You're responsible for so much stuff you don't even know about half of it. (8+D

If it's anything like telephone conversations, then yes. Without consent, anyway - you'd need to inform everyone you're about to start recording them, then it's up to them if they continue talking.
Simply recording them (if it's like phone calls, and I suspect the same legislation would apply) with their explicit or implicit consent is naughty.
I'd have thought you'd probably be banned before they got the cops in though.

Hmm, you can record people on the phone, it's a good way to stop scams/prank calls, I think you can use the recordings as evidence, would be interested to know the answer myself.

It's definitely illegal in the state of Maryland. But I'm not sure about the UK. Would be intrigued.

My understanding is that you can record people all you want without any major repercussion. However, for it to be used as evidence in court you need to have notified the person you are talking to on the call.

Yep, that's the way it is... or the way it was told to me anyway. :D

There's an Ofcom FAQ here which I guess is applicable.
*shrug*

Looks like you can record it so long as nobody else hears/uses it.

I think they recently passed a law making Bratty illegal, so yes, anything you do is illegal. :D
