I have to really think sometimes to prevent myself using Japaniméisms like adding "ne?" to questions, especially on MSN since half my contacts talk like that all the time

That reminds me of when i see conversations between Cantonese friends on Facebook and they always "ar~~~~~" at the end of every sentence. Works in Chinese, looks silly in english.

+ Not to mention when a friend on mumble said "nani" when he didn't catch what i asked him... took a double take on that one since i didn't know he watched anime lol.

+ Was tempted to just reply with "So desu ne..." .

My conversations need more desu
